Our Founder
Wanetta Blackwell: Founder of 224 B'Well
Greetings! I am Wanetta Blackwell, the proud owner of 224 B'Well, a luxury brand specializing in handcrafted home and body fragrances. At 224 B'Well, we offer a range of exquisite bath and body products, including shower gels, body lotions, body sprays, bath salts, and body scrubs, available for both retail and wholesale. Additionally, we handcraft intensely fragrant candles, room sprays, and reed diffusers.
With over 23 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist and 10-year salon owner of Shared Dreams Salon, I bring a wealth of knowledge in ingredient formulation and cosmetic science to every product I create. My educational background includes a master's degree in forensic psychology and dual bachelor's degrees in pre-law, legal studies, and criminal justice. Additional education and training include paralegal and alternative dispute resolution certifications, and twelve years of work experience in military law and veterans law, serving my fellow veterans. This unique combination of skills allows me to approach product development with a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring efficacy and safety in all our handcrafted creations.
As an entrepreneur, I take pride in my customer service skills, creativity, and expertise in product research, development, problem-solving, record-keeping, and documentation. My analytical skills are instrumental in maintaining the high standards of quality that 224 B'Well is known for.
Beyond my professional achievements, I am deeply committed to making a positive impact. As a mother of two children born with Sickle Cell Disease, this cause is incredibly personal to me. My goal is to build a legacy for my children and grandchildren by partnering with donors and philanthropists who share my passion for finding a cure. To this end, 10% of all proceeds from 224 B'Well will be donated to an organization dedicated to continuing Sickle Cell Research.
If you or your company is interested in joining me in this mission, I invite you to reach out for an in-depth conversation on how we can support the ongoing research and make a difference in the lives of those affected by Sickle Cell Disease.
Warm regards,
Wanetta Blackwell
